Under Team Care, a range of treatment options provide employers and insurers with early diagnosis and treatment for employees. Working with a team of Family Physicians and Psychiatrists, this is a uniquely effective treatment.
Description:
Our client is searching for registered psychotherapists across Canada to engage in remote, virtual psychotherapy to assist insurance-based referrals. Improving employee mental health in preparation for return to the workforce. The program delivers a skills-based model of cognitive behavioral therapy modalities, including coaching clients to practice health-promoting strategies and re-engage in meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Provide specialized counselling interventions to diverse clients dealing with various issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder and PTSD. Psychotherapist duties and responsibilities include weekly individual client sessions, ongoing supervision, and periodic report writing.
Job Requirements
- Master of Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Social Work.
- Registered Psychotherapist, autonomous or qualifying.
- Training and experience working with cognitive behavioral therapy modalities such as classic CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and behavioral activation (BA).
- Minimum two years of practical experience working with individual clients.
- Experience with CBT for return to work and/or rehabilitation.
