Project Manager, Information Management Group

The Project Manager will manage multiple projects under the supervision of Sr. Manager IT Infrastructure.  Offering leadership and execution of work in order to achieve IT infrastructure project goals and objectives including project proposals, planning, designing, implementation of IT infrastructure technologies. Managing vendors and supervision of staff delivering on project tasks will be critical to ensure project is within scope, on budget and on schedule . The Project Manager will provide much of the hands-on leadership and coordination that is needed in order to meet deliverables and timelines.

  Responsibilities:

• Hands on work across: Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, reporting and close of all of IT infrastructure project related activities;
• Managing stakeholders to ensure that there is agreement to scope, approach, deliverables and budget to achieve overall success of the projects;
• Identifying project targets and milestones, and working with the project team to achieve the milestones;
• Defining project deliverables, and ensuring that deliverables are completed within the project timeline and meet the quality required;
• Establishing priorities, coordinating and supporting the project team members in their roles;
• Identifying risks and mitigating strategies;
• Identifying project issues and working with the team to resolve the issues;
• Project Reporting.
• Review processes to ensure that internal controls are appropriate;
• Develop and deliver project presentations for various stakeholders;
• Developing and implementing/disseminating the communication plan for the project;

Qualifications:

• Possess a university degree in a computer-related field, combined with minimum of 5 years demonstrated progressive and relevant experience
• Minimum five years demonstrated progressive and relevant experience in Project Management with increasing complexity and scope
• Project management experience in the areas of IT infrastructure
• Experience successfully managing IT infrastructure projects in an healthcare or similar environment
• High level of expertise in the uses and capabilities of IT infrastructure such Networks, Telecom, Wireless, SAN, and ESX technologies
• Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Information Technologies certification or training in the areas of Network and Information security is high desirable.
• PMP Preferred.
