Our client offers a range of services to help employees receive treatment at different stages of mental health. Under the TeamCare brand, a range of treatment options provide employers and insurers with early diagnosis and treatment for employees.

Working with a team of Family Physicians and Psychiatrists, this is a uniquely effective treatment. Their approach involves direct support between the Family Physician, Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist to ensure prompt and effective treatment. The service has shown major reductions in the duration of illnesses and decreased incidence of long-term disability.

They offer part-time flexible, independent hours to work within your schedule or add to your practice.

Description:

Our client is searching for registered psychotherapists across Canada to engage in remote virtual psychotherapy to assist insurance-based referrals. Improving mental health in preparation for return to the workforce. The program delivers a skills-based model of cognitive behavioural therapy modalities, including coaching meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Provide specialized counselling interventions to diverse clients dealing with various issues, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder and PTSD. Psychotherapist duties and responsibilities include weekly individual client sessions, ongoing supervision, and periodic report writing.

Job Requirements

  •  Master of Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Social Work.
  •  Registered Psychotherapist.
  • Training and experience working with cognitive behavioural therapy modalities such as classic CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and behavioural activation (BA).
  • Minimum one to two years of practical experience working with individual clients.
  • Experience with CBT for return to work and/or rehabilitation.
